Hosted alongside the Geothermal Rising Conference, this event is open to both visiting families and the local community — all are welcome to celebrate Reno’s unique role as a leader in geothermal energy.

Sunday, October 26, Agenda:

•   10:30 AM - 11:00 AM | Shuttle from Peppermill to The Discovery (GRC attendees only)
•   11:00 AM -1:30 PM | The Discovery; Pizza Party (while supplies last), learn about geothermal, live science demos, explore the whole museum
•   1:00 PM - 2:00 PM |  Optional midday shuttle to and from Peppermill available (GRC attendees only)
•   1:30 PM - 1:45 PM |  Migration to the Library, wrap up museum activities and head across the street
•   1:45 PM - 3:15 PM | Downtown Reno Public Library; scavenger hunt with prizes, book reading, face painting, coloring stations
•   3:15 PM - 3:45 PM | Shuttle back to Peppermill available (GRC attendees only)
•   4:00 PM - 6:00 PM | Geothermal 101 at the GRC, in Tuscany 5-6 at Peppermill, FREE and open to the public, led by Dave Boden and Jay Egg
