Career Fair Overview

The Geothermal Rising Career Fair connects students, early-career professionals, transitioning workers, and geothermal employers to strengthen the workforce needed to support the industry's continued growth. Held in conjunction with the Geothermal Rising Conference, the event provides opportunities to explore careers, build professional connections, and engage directly with organizations across the geothermal sector.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet geothermal developers, drilling and service companies, engineering and consulting firms, technology providers, research organizations, government agencies, and other industry employers. Whether you are seeking an internship, launching your career, or exploring a transition from another industry, the career fair is designed to help you identify opportunities and understand how your skills and experience can contribute to the future of geothermal energy

Employers

The geothermal industry's growth depends on developing a strong and diverse workforce pipeline. The Geothermal Rising Career Fair provides employers with a focused opportunity to connect with emerging talent and experienced professionals while increasing awareness of career opportunities within the industry.

Participating organizations will have the opportunity to:

  • Recruit students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals
  • Connect with experienced professionals transitioning from oil & gas, construction, engineering, manufacturing, and related sectors

Employers will have access to talent representing engineering, geoscience, drilling, operations, construction, skilled trades, business, policy, and other disciplines that support the geothermal sector.

Space is limited to approximately 25 participating organizations. Priority registration will be available to Geothermal Rising Conference exhibitors, with remaining spaces open to geothermal companies, service providers, consultants, utilities, government agencies, research organizations, and industry partners

In addition to employer engagement, attendees will have access to professional development resources designed to help them prepare for career opportunities in the geothermal industry, including:

Registration for both employers and attendees is now open.

Registration Fees for Employers:

  • 6 Foot Table - $600
  • High Top Table - $400
  • Additional Table Staff - $125

Employer Registration

Registration Information: 

Fees for employers include registration for one onsite representative and one boxed lunch. Registration for additional table staff is available for purchase.

  • Career Fair Attendee - $25

Attendee Registration 

Fees for attendees include one boxed lunch.  Attendees are eligible for reimbursement for registration fees after the event.

Cancellation Policy: Registration cancellation requests must be made in writing and emailed to registration@geothermal.org by Wednesday, August 19, 2026, for a partial refund. A $100 processing fee applies to cancellations postmarked or emailed by this date. NO REFUNDS will be made for cancellation requests after Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Substitution(s) can be made at any time, with prior approval.
