Amplify and the New Zealand Geothermal Association are excited to deliver an extensive line-up of events for NZ Geothermal Week 2024, 1st - 6th July.
Now in its fourth year, NZ Geothermal Week is held in and around the Taupō Volcanic Zone, where New Zealand’s world-class geothermal industry is concentrated. The week showcases and celebrates this thriving industry, which is well-positioned to help Aotearoa New Zealand, transition to a sustainable energy future.
Renewable geothermal resources can deliver not only baseload electricity, but also off-grid heat energy for industrial processes and production systems, and sustainable recovery of minerals. Baseload electricity and heat energy can also be used to produce other renewable fuels such as hydrogen and wood pellets.
With many events for industry and business, schools and communities, everyone has a chance to get involved in sharing and learning about what geothermal has to offer.
We invite you to take this opportunity to share and learn more about the New Zealand geothermal industry and join our journey towards a renewable energy future where the environment, local communities and businesses thrive.

You are invited to attend the Wisconsin Geothermal Association Annual Conference. Our theme this year is Leveling Up Renewable Energy Through Geothermal. Without a doubt, the surge in renewable technologies is here! The market has responded to some of the best incentives yet offered for renewable projects, and geothermal heating/cooling industry is a big part of that growth.
We’ve experienced huge growth as more and more property owners are motivated not only by incentives, but by lower operational costs, energy price stability, lower carbon footprint, and more. This conference will provide a balance of the policy and the practice behind the design and installation of geothermal heating and cooling systems and address some of the opportunities – like beneficial electrification and net zero energy – and challenges – like training, as the industry expands to meet this new demand.
Registration is now open for the 2024 Illinois Geothermal Conference. This year’s conference will be held at the Double Tree Hotel and Conference Center in Bloomington, IL on Tuesday, March 12th through Wednesday, March 13th.
EPRI is hosting the Electrification 2024 International Conference & Exposition, featuring immersive pre-conference workshops, compelling agenda sessions, a collaborative Exposition Hall and multiple networking functions. Electrification 2024 will bring together thought leaders and innovators from across the electrification spectrum, providing you with a wide range of opportunities for education and collaboration to help advance your organization’s initiatives. Reunite with business, policy, government and academic stakeholders, as well as vendors and other partners, for an in-depth exploration of how we can work together to meet deep decarbonization targets through a customer-focused clean energy transition. We look forward to Accelerating Together for an Electrified Future!
