2026 Turkish Geothermal Congress
Join Illinois’ leading geothermal voices for a forward-looking conference focused on building a clear, credible message and advancing real solutions that grow geothermal across our state.
The 2026 Illinois Geothermal Conference is designed for anyone interested in geothermal, from those installing systems in the field to those shaping policy and planning future communities. This year’s theme, Power in the Message, is about strengthening how we communicate the value of geothermal in Illinois: educating decision-makers, aligning stakeholders, and equipping the industry with tools to confidently explain benefits, overcome barriers, and accelerate adoption. You’ll experience a day and a half packed with curated tracks, engaging panels, and powerful keynote presenters—focused on the most pressing issues and most promising opportunities in the geothermal sector.
Established in 2018, the Hot Springs Connection is the only conference in the United States designed specifically for hot springs owners, operators, general managers, facilities directors, and industry professionals. The purpose of the event is to provide networking opportunities, seminars and workshops for commercial mineral pools, spas and resorts.
At 25th WPC Energy Congress, policy, innovation, and investment intersect, offering a neutral and inclusive platform for Heads of State, Ministers, CEOs, Presidents, and global thought leaders to accelerate practical, actionable pathways to a low-carbon, secure, and equitable energy future. Engage in solution-focused discussions addressing the social, environmental, and economic challenges shaping the global energy transition.
The goals of the conference are to bring together engineers, scientists and managers involved in geothermal reservoir studies and developments; provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on the exploration, development and use of geothermal resources; and to enable prompt and open reporting of progress. We strongly encourage all scientists and engineers involved in geothermal reservoir technology to attend the workshop.
Papers will be presented on recent research relating to geothermal reservoirs including:
Geothermal Rising is pleased to announce the dates and location for the 2030 Geothermal Rising Conference: Sunday, October 27 - Wednesday, October 30 at the Gaylord National Harbor, Maryland.
Did you know that Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington, DC, utilizes Geothermal energy? The Elephant Trails Exhibit currently uses 40 geothermal wells for heating and cooling. The Washington, DC metro area is experiencing a renaissance of low-temperature geothermal projects stimulated by both federal and local tax incentives as well as localities and organizations’ commitment to reliable, sustainable energy solutions.
Nestled just outside Washington, DC, National Harbor is a vibrant waterfront district featuring restaurants, boutique shopping, entertainment venues and plenty of opportunities for fun excursions.
Save-the-date to join us at the Gaylord National Harbor in 2030! The hotel room block will open, along with registration, in Spring of 2030.
The German Geothermal Congress 2025 will take place from November 18 to 20 at the HOLM Frankfurt.
The industry meeting with more than 500 participants from Germany and international guests is unique in the German-speaking world.
On two congress days and one workshop day, a wide range of topics from business and research, near-surface, medium and deep geothermal energy will be covered. Thanks to several parallel sessions, a broad spectrum can be covered.

It is becoming increasingly clear how necessary it is to make rapid and ambitious progress in the area of climate protection. Deep geothermal energy can make an important contribution to electricity generation, but especially to heat supply. The German government has now also recognized this, but there are still challenges - both technical and in terms of licensing law. But these too can be successfully mastered.
The Geothermie.Bayern practical forum will show possible solutions. Experts from science, business, politics and practice will discuss how geothermal projects can be optimally implemented. Numerous electricity and heat projects, many of them in the geothermal hotspot of Bavaria, present what sustainable energy generation looks like. Currently, there are also many new projects in development in Bavaria, which we would like to present at this year's practical forum.
The popular industry event and networking meeting will take place again from 22 to 24 October 2025 at the Bürgerhaus Pullach near Munich. The congress day on 23 October 2025 will be simultaneously translated.
Building on a decade of success, The 11th Indonesia International Geothermal Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE) 2025, the world's largest geothermal event, returns on 17 - 19 September 2025 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC). This year’s theme: Fostering Collaboration for a Green Economy in Indonesia: The Role of Geothermal Energy in Sustainable Growth Hosted by INAGA and held alongside the 25th INAGA Annual Scientific Meeting, IIGCE 2025 brings together global leaders, experts, and innovators to shape the future of geothermal energy.
