Geothermal Resources Council Announces Full Six-Day Agenda for 2020 Virtual Conference

The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC), the host of the geothermal industry’s largest flagship annual conference, released the full agenda and list of speakers for its 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting & Expo taking place on October 18-23, 2020. The agenda also includes three pre-conference workshops that will take place on October 16 - 18, 2020.

This year’s six-day long live event will kick-off with an opening presentation welcoming attendees from around the globe who have come together to learn, collaborate, and experience this all-new, truly transformative event. The GRC is pleased to announce Senator Lisa Murkowski, Senior U.S. Senator for Alaska and Chair of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, and Daniel Simmons, Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the Department of Energy, as the two keynote speakers who will be presenting during the opening presentation. The robust technical program has been designed specifically to enhance and heighten expectations.

Technical sessions will highlight the width and breadth of geothermal energy, spanning from science, engineering, social-economics, and government. These sessions represent the eclectic mix of people that are involved: students, corporate entrepreneurs, politicians, professionals, and researchers.
