Next-generation geothermal technologies are advancing to commercial scale, and require new financing mechanisms that align with evolving project risks. This panel brings together experts from finance, technology development, project execution and subsurface engineering to expore how geothermal projects become investable and bankable. Panelists will discuss the risks that matter most to investors and lenders, the technical milestones that build confidence, the role of demonstration projects and data, and how project teams can translate subsurface uncertainty into financeable opportunities.
