Association Headquarters Praises Geothermal Rising’s Commitment to a Green Future

Geothermal Rising efforts applauded in a recent article by a prominent association management company.
Geothermal heat pumping systems use 25%-50% less electricity than conventional heating or cooling systems.

Association Headquarters (AH), and association management company that specializes in non-profit management, has published a blog article praising Geothermal Rising's efforts to educate the public on the many benefits of geothermal energy.

The post, titled "Protecting the Planet with Geothermal Energy: Geothermal Rising Champions Clean, Renewable Energy in The Face of Climate Change," can be found here.

The article points out the direness of our current environmental situation and discusses GR's leadership role in fighting climate change, including educating the geothermal community as well as government figures and members of the general public.

GR’s work in unifying the various stakeholders in geothermal energy helps shepherd everyone closer to a future with much lower levels of carbon usage

In addition to discussing Geothermal Rising's role in educating and bringing the industry together, the article gives a snapshot of several projects and movements within the geothermal industry. Some of the topics discussed include: district heating in New York City, geothermal energy's potential to appeal to both sides of the political arena, and geothermal power production's very low emissions compared to other power sources.

Electric cars and solar panels were all the rage back in the 1970s, but they didn’t actually gain traction until the 2000s. And that’s where geothermal is going. What’s going to take place in the next 30 years with it is beyond comprehension.
